Problem:Successful Database connection yields no table access. (says none, even though tables exist)
After installing Windows XP Service Pack 2 (on a brand new Dell 2400 running Windows XP Pro), I was trying to add a DataSet to an existing ASP VB.NET Page. I was unable to create a DataSet after creating the Data Connection successfully. The existing connections work in the pages but I can not see any tables in the Application Database editor. Is anyone else having this problem? I cannot see any Tables in the directory tree.

I am having the same problem. Now that you mention it, it did occur after I installed SP2.

I am also having this problem after installing SP2. Microsoft said I should uninstall it . . .

Uninstalling does solve the problem, but leaves Dreamweaver users 'exposed'. I have no idea what security lockdown is causing the issue, but it may be script permissions. No word from Macromedia on the subject. Typical Microsoft answer. Now I really don't trust their 'updates'.

I know this thread is quite old and I'm a newbie here, but I thought I would thank Ashley for that link. It was exactly what I needed! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
