Web Site Definition

When working on a web site using different computers and saved on floppy/cds, do I always need to redefine the site... root folder, images default folder?It looks like that I have to do that over and over to continue working on the web. Is there a better way?

You can also export the site definitions and reload that in the web.
You can also put your Local web on your remote web and download every time your newest version.
