I just finish doing a few things on my site using PHP. I was thinking of creating an area for administrator to manage things such as file upload, mysql table update etc.

I am clueless on how all these session thing work and how to make one. Anyone could point me in that direction on how to start?

Basically, allow the user to login on to the website, give them access to a menupath which contain site maintainence function.

BTW: The site is in PHP and using dreamweave MX right now.
