I know absolutely nothing about creating extensions, but would like to find out more. Can anyone tell me a bit about it or tell me where to look.

Thanks, I have had a quick look and it looks promising, but I will have a longer look later.

Just had another look. The items on the Extension Writers page seem to be about managing extensions, which isn't quite what I'm after. Being a complete 'extension writing novice' (I really don't know anything) I was wondering 'what makes up an extension?' I know how to install and use extensions (I couldn't live without them), but if you were to 'break an extension apart' what would you see - A load of Javascript, ASP, PHP, C? Could someone who knows a little PHP write an extension? As you can see I have a lot of questions, but nowhere to start from as I know nothing.

Then I think that the best starting point is your own Dreamweaver Copy.

Go to Help &gt; Extensions &gt; Extending Dreamweaver.
