<b>Error: command text was not for the object </b>

i get the error when i try to expand the record set in the bindings panel .
This happens when i use DISTINCT in a sql SELECT statement.

Example:

<pre id=code><font face=courier size=2 id=code>SELECT DISTINCT fieldname
FROM database
SORT BY fieldname ASC</font id=code></pre id=code>

The Recodset test just fine and returns results in the dialogue box, and i can place the Recordset
values manualy to the page, bit not from the Bindingspanel.

I use asp, vb with SQL server database and DSNless connection string.

Does anyone had this problem or what might cause it?
