Search engines no not spider (well at least rank) pages that are like product.asp?id=45
They rank PowerDrill.html and PowerDrill.php higher. ( PowerDrill.html would be ranked highest)
How can we build, mass amounts , database driven pages with out a "?" in the url?

Check out Matt Machell's article on 'Basic Site Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation' in the premium content section. I bought it recently and I'm sure it has some information on a workaround to your problem - well worth paying a couple of dollars for!
