I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this, but I just used the free version of this cart for a site and it was a dream to setup. They asked me to compare it to Comersus and CandyPress - I'll keep my answers to myself but you could tell them what you think.

a lot of features listed, of course the free one doesn't have near half the commercial priced ones are, but starting at $50 doesn't sound too bad. I'd like to hear other who take up this cart system.

I heard from the developer that the owners are really close to putting the mid-range version out for free for a time limited offer to get it in the marketplace. I'll drop a note here if that really happens.

That would be cool as this site has a lot of ASP users and some will try it out. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

The company is now allowing a FREE download of their basic cart as long as you register for a newsletter and product updates. The Basic store retails at only $49.95 but it has EVERYTHING I ever need for a shopping system. I don't know how long this will last so I would suggest get it while the getting is good!

Rick,

Do you know these guys? Are they good to work with? I want to make a store to sell framed prints (with my sisters art in them - I'm real proud of her work! www.stacieannsmith.com under the art area) but don't know anything about this sort of thing. I mean, if I ask them questions, do they answer? Or do I get a photocopy-reply?

Better, yet, mind if I email you directly? I've got a ton of questions you might be able to answer if you know them.

Any that are general/informative would be of value to post here, so we can all know and learn! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
