HI good people of the forum,I am a newbie to firework, but i 've exploring the software and i can say it is quite easy to use. Anyway, my major worry of becoming a fireworks expert is working with the pen tool, to create wonderful vector based images like company logos and such.
Pls any good tip whatsoever would be nice. Thank you very much.

the pen is the hardest tool to use in any gfx program i find, but with practice you will get used to it.
if you hold the left mouse button while dragging, u create "handles" that give u curves. these can be manipulated to suit your style, by using the "handle" ends to drag and position the curve.
if im not mistaken, i think the button u mentioned is made with the "rectangle" feature, where you can tweak the corners etc.. so one side is rounded and one stays sharp.
