Hi guys, Im a totally newbie in dreamweaver, however I managed to adopt the environment of dreamweaver and Mysql. I just want to ask if there's an extension manager for e-commerce "kinda complicated" or if you have any suggestion about this or maybe a free e-commerce software that works using php/mysql embedded on DW.. thanks and more success to come

Yes, there are many DW e-Commerce extension suites for PHP/MySQL combo, none really free that I know of. First question would be DW MX or MX2004? So be sure the cart works with your version (some not all MX2004 compatible just yet).

IntelliCART MX - www.rawveg.org/index.php?shopstage=detail&prod_id=1&totalRows_rsProducts=7&option=com_intellishop&Itemid=50 by Tim Green (DMXzone member); I own this one.

MX Kommerce (Bundle) - www.interaktonline.com/Products/Bundles/MXKommerce/ by InterAKT ...

or MX Shop - www.interaktonline.com/Products/Web-Applications/MXShop/ also by InterAKT; reputable company.

WA eCommerce Suite (Bundle) - www.webassist.com/Products/ProductDetails.asp?PID=55 by WebAssist ...

or WA eCart - www.webassist.com/Products/ProductDetails.asp?PID=54 also by WebAssist; reputable company.

PHP X CART - www.felixone.it/extensions/xcarten.asp by FelixONE; I have yet to hear anything good/bad about this yet.

And of course any others I have no knowledge of may be listed at the Macromedia Exchange (www.macromedia.com/exchange/).

Hehe, cool, let us know which one you end up choosing, and why. It would help others who use the Search box .
