Hello guys,I have at least 4 Access databases, each with 1 table only, with my current configuration i can make a search query over those 4 databases using a form submit argument.
Currently i want to make possible for the user to select which databases to query and then submit is search word for the query. I was thinking on using form checkboxes to select the databases, but then i couldn't find out how to use that selection on my query.
I can put the tables in 1 database, if it helps.
Does anyone already had a issue like this? If possible can you get me some hint?
Best regards,
Miguel,

In a way, I'd first say to merge the tables into one database. Are you expecting/getting heavy traffic?
Is the hurdle that you want to author entirely through DW MX/MX2004, but can't figure how to make the search span multiple db's?

Hello,
Yes i can merge the databases into one without a problem.
Regarding the span over the database, you're enterily correct, i can't figure out a way to make the selection on which tables the user wants to make the search.
It will not have much traffic, i'm making a search query that only searches for a 'word' and replies the matched lines of the database, in an universe of about 50k callsigns.
Best regards,
Miguel
