This must sound crazy but I can't get my table cells to change color. I choose the TR tag and the TD tag and nothing.

What is going on? I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004.

If you're using Template(s), then check if it's locked in an editable/repeat region? or even an optional region?

I can't believe it. I have tried to figure this out for about 1 hour. Once I posted the question. I went back to my site. I noticed that on my custom CSS Style, I had body,td,th style and then I had a seperate body style. I was causing conflict. I already had the td option set to white, so no matter how much I tried to change a cell to black, the CSS would not allow it. The funny thing is that I did not even know I was controlling the td from my styles.

I am a newb. I must have added it a while back and forgot about it. I figured it out when I deleted my CSS Style and the table colors worked. This is when I started looking closer at the style options.

Thanks allot guys. I guess I got this one on my own. I am working with a simple Frame site and I figured it was something to do with frames. LOL Shows you how much I know.

I would suggest keeping the CSS and modifying it to get the effect you are after rather than rely on HTML to style your pages. It will be much easier to change things in future
