Newbie having trouble with valadating form.

I made a simple form in dreamweaverMX with some textfields, hidden fields and menu's and ofcourse a submitbutton.
Selecting the form and apllying the formvalidating behavior, only the textfields appear in the formvalidating popup window. The hidden fields and menu's don't appear and so I can't get the behavior to validate them.
So my question is, how can I get this behavior to work properly or if not possible: Is there a behavior which does what I need it to do.

use the Yaromat extension for this instead. dreamweavers form validation is very basic.
