Ok, so I'm really going to show my ignorance about web developing with my question here. Is there any reason to not use more than one programming language withing a site? (i.e. ASP +PHP) The reason I ask is that I am currently building a website for my photography business and I've found some very nice extensions that work with ASP but Dreamweaver doesn't seem to like connection to a MySQL database with ASP. I know PHP is much better suited to talk to MySQL and I should probably learn how to code it myself, but right now I'm taking up enough time learning the ins and outs of Dreamweaver itself. Or better yet, if anyone knows of an extension similar to the Login User Dynamic Redirect in PHP I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance.

Nothing entirely wrong with it, except confusion and double the maintenance for you. I'd stick to one language per project. If you want ASP to talk to MySQL then I'd ask your host what could be done. Otherwise they should offer Access database support with your ASP hosting.
