hello internet dudes,

ok i have a problem, i have a free account with geocities.com and i make a site up in dreamweaver and i upload it to geocites.com and it works fine, BUT when i make my site up in FIREWORKS and put it in dreamweaver then to put on geocities.com it says it is an invalid file. SO i went back to dreamweaver and tryed to preview it in the browser and i get this error message.

An ftp error ocurred- cannot put TMP11qq1cjgkom.cfm
553- The name you specified is not allowed.

Like i don't know whats going on please push me in the right direction. THANKS

The extension on your error shows .cfm, which is a Cold Fusion file extension.
I seriously doubt that GeoCities allows CF files, so you will probably need to change your Fireworks settings to output your code as HTML, with an .htm extension.

PS - Forum ettiquette would ask you NOT to post the same question in more than one forum... just an FYI.
