Hi

I created a site a while back, and all the pages are based on templates. However, my hard drive crashed shortly after and I hadn't backed up my template files (lesson learnt!). Is there any way that I can now edit the non-editable regions of my pages without access to the templates, ie. disassociate the pages from their original source? I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004, but the pages were originally created with Dreamweaver 3.0.

Any help would be appreciated.

Vicky

Hi Vicky

I haven't heard of an easy way to do that, without the .dwt files...
Short of editing the code in notepad and removing all the template code <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

I haven't used .dwt files for a while now, prefer to use SSI but I realise its not always an option.

Thanks for your reply Simon - yes, that's the route I'm taking and it's working fine, but it's a tediously longwinded process...
