Hi All. I have created a number of sites now but a number of them seem to be consistently slow to load. The particularly slow sites contain nav bars which I have created in fireworks - when I look at the code generated by insertion of the FWMX nav bar.. it is significant. How can I reduce this or is it an inefficiency between fireworks and dreamweaver? I also think I need to learn more about optimising html in dreamweaver can anyone advise any sites?

personally i never really liked the nav bar functions. or any type of dhtml menu, they hog load times etc.., but since the support for css has increased there is more options available for creating nice drop menus
