I'm following a tutorial to learn about building .NET web apps. (The book I'm working from is Dreamweaver MX 2004 and Databases). Anyhow, I've followed the instructions precisely but can't get logged in successfully.

Like I said, I've followed the instructions to the letter and have successfully tested the connection between the page and the database by clicking the test button on the dataset dialog window. When I test the page, I get the login failure message ("Login failed. Please try again." - the message I created) and I know I'm using the correct username/password pair.

Besides quadruple-checking my code and testing the Dataset connection, I don't know how to troubleshoot from here. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks for the link to the tutorial. It seems that quintuple-checking my code (eg, rewriting the page from scratch) is what did the trick. Thanks for all the help.
