hi,i created an animated gif but have come across a problem and was wondering if anyone can help...
when i export the animated gif it creates the HTML document and that works fine when i open it in my browser - but when i try to email it it doesnt work - i just get the box in the browser wit the red cross - why is this?
i'm pretty new to web design and this is the first animated gif i have tried and i'm stumped as i need to send it to someone as it is an advert to go on a website.
none of the tutorials seem to cover this part they just say export and try it in your browser - perhaps the company who are going to use the ad need the original fireworks file??
any help would be massively appreciated.

you have to also email the images along with the html page.
for example if I have 10 images that makeup my animation, they all have to be emailed as well as the html page where it indicates that there is an animation. that is why you see the box with the cross there are no image present only the reference to it.
hope it helps.
