<b>People...</b>

I had an idea for a background to our band's MySpace page (we just released our debut CD); & that was to link to a web page on my test server that displayed numerous photos & images of the band…at a very light opacity...to make them appear veiled & washed out.

I know that, for example...I can place a photo or image in an Illustrator or Photoshop layer; & then scale back the opacity.

But can this be accomplished in Dreamweaver?

If not...can it be achieved thru any sort of html manipulation?

Thanks very much,

BTW - Please forgive me for past posts in which I have not responded or came back & thanked a respondent. I am very appreciative of all the help I have received here...& want everyone to know it. Thanks again.

<b>Ms. Brown...</b>

Thanks !!!...that is really cool (sorry it took me so long to get back, BTW.)

Bear in mind...this is for a background image on a MySpace Music page...so there would have to be a way to apply that script to that background image <i>only</i>.

[Backing up a bit...the way I eventually accomplished what I originally wanted was to create my entire multiple image layout in Illustrator (so as to be at least comfortable with image resizing)...then I exported the whole page as a big .TIF, opened that in Photoshop, comitted the background to it's own layer & washed out the opacity 50% (& then saved it as a .JPG for the web.)]

Here's how it looks at present:

MySpace allows customization by permitting additional code at the bottom of the user's bio page; & in my case, for the washed out background image, I used a style sheet entry for background image.

Now...Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to use that script...'cause for that to work, all the images would have to be separate & individual (& not all part of one big graphic.) But thanks anyway...I'll keep it around for future use.

Thanks again,

Nice music for a webpage background. Can one buy a few tracks to use on own websites?
