O.K. Scream if you want to I'm using a P.C. with XP and Dreamweaver (get over it)
However I have noticed something very odd. I wondered if any of you tech bods out there could help solve it.
XP requires that you have a Documents file extension with your Documents held in it you cant turn this bloody thing off so you end up with a super long extension address. Dreamweaver does seem to like this and finds it difficult to find images in preview and then when you try to up load it on to the Web it tells you forget it your images aren't there your home page isn't there. (O.K. for all you Mac Lovers out there, nows the time when you can say it "I told you so" Oh and you can do your little dance as well" Now I'm pretty new to this web design thingy bob. Other tech heads have run their eye over it and apart from take the PxSS out of me they too seemed baffled as to what seem to be the problem. So before I ring up Bill Gates and ask him what the FxxK are they doing messing about with XP making it easy for idiots but impossible for the intelligent. Please can someone shed some light on this problem. So to recap

No Images when previewing (Yes it does show it with the tick box checked)
Dreamweaver Losing Images and Home Page saying they are out side the Dreamweaver Site.

Some body please help!!!

It seems to me that your site is set to root and your file names are long. If not, make sure you have links realtive to document instead. Then, your addresses will be short and sweet as you like them.

Perhaps you should have a look at the get started with DW on under the Help button on the menu bar.
