Hello.... Good day to all!....

i'm a newbie here.... need help regarding creating a login page, can anyone direct me to a tutorial on how to make a login page.... actually i already made one.... but i'm having problems, everything is running smoothly in my system, but when i uploaded my webpage to the server, my login page site it not working, it seems its not able to locate the MsAccess database or the assigned invalid page or the logged page if username and password is correct.... anyways, been working on it for days already.... i'm guessing its possible my login page is not able to locate my users database, can anyone give me a hand here please.... <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

thanks for the link, but i cant find on how to link or assign the datasource to my login.asp page.

heres the error that comes out after i enter the username and password:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

/phoenixtaz/login.asp, line 24



i'm using DW 8.... and heres my site www10.asphost4free.com/phoenixtaz/login.asp

supposedly when u enter a wrong username and password, u will be redirected to the error.asp page.... and i have no clue why its not doing what its suppose to do.... but in my computer, everything is working fine..... can u please help me..... please.... please.... <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Server.MapPath will only work if your DB folder is relative to the root of your website, otherwise you will have to use the full path:

"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" & Server.MapPath("/db/All.mdb" & ";"

Check this out and with the above you'll figure it out:
