I was about to buy the new "Universal Form Validator ASP" and typed my VAT number in, but got the message "service not ...." which mean I cannot take out the tax, That must be an error. I am from an EU country?

The VAT number is checked at an external database from the EU. It's seems that at the moment you tried to pruchase this service was not available at that time.

If you or someone else has a problem that the service is not available, go to ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/ and check if the service is working. If it works then contact our sales support by e-mailing to sales@dmxzone.com. If it also is not working on the given link you have to wait until the service is back, often it is only down for a few minutes.

The prices on the site are without tax, if you live in the EU and don't have a valid VAT number 19% VAT will be extra billed. I checked your purchase and you didn't pay TAX because you entered a valid VAT number.

okay ... just asked, because when I shop in England, Germany etc. the price online are usually inclusive tax, and on the final bill the tax amount is then taken off...

We show prices without tax because most of our customers don't have to pay it. Most customers come from outside of the EU or are companies with a VAT number. Only customers from the Netherlands always have to pay tax.
