I need to move Dreamweaver 8 from an older computer(Win XP) to a new one(Win Vista). It is a legitimate, purchased version but I cannot locate the installation disk. I copied the files from the old computer and tried to run Dreamweaver.exe and got the Message, "Please reinstall your software."

Obviously, there are additional files that must be moved to the new computer.

Can anyone help.

Hi John,

You might want to use some kind of Keyfinder on your old PC to find the Dreamweaver serial. Next you need to obtain the installation software in any way and install it with the recovered serial.
