<font face='Arial'>Hello,
I redefined the body tag with css with font-family. It works fine with opera, IE... but #*%§ Netscape4 wont display this correct. Other css-styles I'm using are working correct. anyone have an idea what I do wrong???

You are using Netscape.

I am not sure what the problem can be. I know that fonts that are nested in table don't receive the font values from the body. But there are lots of other things that can be wrong.

<font face='Arial'>Hi Waldo - I must say this: I'm NOT a Netscape-User!!! But the Log-Files on my Server tells me there are still 3% of users who do so. And actually this 3 percent I dont like to give an argument to speak ugly about my web-design-experience! ;-}
However - may be it's a good idea to redefine also the table tags with those font-attributes. Thanx for responding!

hey all, netscape sucks<img src=../images/fwzone/forum/icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>(if any didn't knew that)! i had all sorts of css problems with netscape and in the end i gave up and now i don't even test my pages on netscape... die netscape.... and ohh i don't know what the problems it sorry...

i want a dead netscape for christmas!

I agree 100% with you. Die Netscape, die. I hate when I need to spend additonal hours/days fixing problems for Netscape. Now I don't care any more for N4x. I'm checking pages only on IE5x and N6. I'm even suprised how everything looks OK in Netscape 6.
As answer to problems with CSS - they should be OK on N6 and IE5. Forget about Netscape 4 and your life will be much easier.
