how hard would it be to change the forum code to use the PD HTML editor?

I only wonder because it would be easier to use that, than the Forum code...

I agree with you, it is on our To Do list already but does not have high priority: it does not cange the function of the boards and only makes it easier to use. Because we don't have much time we have decided to first improve other parts like adding more details to the extensions section etc etc (better search functionality on UD version and Server Model for example).
