Hi...

I own a site, with a talkzone just like this one. I know that I have to participate a lot, to keep people copming back and puting posts. I try to reply every posts which don't have any other replies.

You should do the same here. It seems Talkzones are dying and I bet this is the key problem.

It's difficult to be able to answer all questions from anyone. We do not have such a large team and the main goal of these TalkZones is that members can help each others.

We are trying to help as much as possible and will try to find new contributers, but it is not easy to find them.

Togut: I now see your point. This forum is shared by multiple sites (www.UDzone.com, www.DWzone.net, www.FLzone.net and www.FWzone.net). We have setup FLzone and FWzone because it was very easy for us and we wanted to give the FW community a tool to play with.

Unfortunately the founders of the site (started with UDzone) do not have any graphical background. So the quality of FWzone is completely in hands of the FW community.

We currently have contacts with some good folks that are willing to run this site. Let me know when you are willing to help by providing tutorials, examples, being a forum manager or whatever.

I hope you understand my explanation and accept my excuses.

This is a excellent site.
Very useful. The only problem is the talkzones are very quiet <img src=../images/fwzone/forum/icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
It is such a good resource I hope it can build a regular following.

Here's hoping

Yeah cheers
George I noticed the UD forum is pretty active.
It certainly helps when you guys reply to posts...always nice to get a reply <img src=../images/fwzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

The FW zone really intersts me because there are such a shortage of good site for Fireworks in comparison to Flash or Dreamweaver.

I have noticed the forums on dmxzone are very quiet.
I try to participate as often as I can and hope to encourage others into helping find solutions to posts - but I only see a handful of other people engaging in the discussions.

I was helped a great deal by people on these forums and want to give something back by helping the next generation learn how its done.

However I have also noticed a shift in approach / attitude of the site, there is less and less free content - it seems all there is these days is Premium content. The premium articles are great value for money, I have bought a number of them myself and it is only right that the authors should be paid for their hard work and contributions. Premium content is great... but it should be premium and not the only content on the site.

Maybe there is a link there?

Sharing knowledge saves valuable time!

Hi

Love DMXZones' Lightbox extention which works well within Dreamweaver CS4. But in addition to DW, I'm also using SiteGrinder,a web creating program within Photoshop. My question: How to use DMX's Lightbox when operating outside of Dreamweaver? Is this possible? If you have a solution please send to

Much appreciated.

Hi Gene,

The DMX Lightbox is a Dreamweaver extensionand can therefor only be used from within Dreaweaver.

Kind regards, Patrick
