Hi there

I am a complete newbie so please bare with me!! I have designed a modest site for friends of mine using dreamweaver, I created a little photo album in fireworks and added to the dreamweaver site. What I need to know is how can I let my friends update the photos themselves using their own browser, do i need to make a special form to upload images, the site is hosted on lycos so can use php and asp. or is it easier for them to e-mail me the images and i upload?

please be very basic in your answers as i am a complete novice

You didn't specify what programming language you are using, but we have three extensions on our site that will let you create an application where your friends can upload the images through a form.

You will have to learn asp, but the extension comes with tutorials. You can read the tutorials online:

Your friends will see a form with a browse button to browse for the image on their computer and once they have found the image they can click submit.
