Don't you hate it when you have to waste time, doing repetitive tasks? There's one great service called Zapier, which will do the boring job for you and will move the info between your web apps, automatically. Today, we decided to put it to the test, together with our DMXzone Server Connect and a few of its awesome components. The result is pretty impressive and you can see it in our latest video below.
With over 100 DMXzone extensions, understanding which one you need and how it works could be a tough job. In this article we'll explore the anatomy of our tools so you can get to know the four major groups and the difference between them. We have server side extensions, client side extensions, independent ones and also extensions, which still use the old server behaviors but will be deprecated soon.
You ask for it and you shall receive it! Last week we announced that we were working on our DMXzone Extensions Roadmap 2017 and now we're ready to give you a sneak preview of what to expect from us. First and foremost one major extension will be released very soon. It's called DMXzone App Connect, and similarly to DMXzone Server Connect, it will serve many more other extensions but on the client side. If you're already familiar with HTML5 Data Bindings, think of DMXzone App Connect like its second version but with improved behavior connector (DMXzone Task Manager to be named). Below you can see what else we'll develop but keep in mind that we'll update the list constantly in the next few months.
We know that you're excited about our plans for this year but you need to be patient just a little bit longer. We're currently gathering all extensions that we'll release in 2017 so we can show you a preview next week. Until then, you can take a look an all 24 extensions, worth almost 1500 €, which we managed to develop and bring to you last year. One thing we can promise you is that you will not be disappointed with the upcoming list as we have great plans for the next 12 month.
