Due to the many requests that we received during the last couple of days, today we have a very useful video tutorial where we'll show you how to render HTML preformatted content using our HTML5 Data Bindings extension, together with Dynamic Database Connectivity Collection PHP/ASP. All you need to do is add your data source in Dynamic Database Connectivity Collection PHP/ASP, select the container that you want to populate with the preformatted text and bind it as data.html.
In the past two versions of our HTML5 Data Bindings extension, we added a numerous new features that can be extremely helpful when doing the magic on your pages. In today's showcase we used the global $FORM object that's available directly in the HTML5 Data Bindings floating panel and also the data.show attribute with conditional formatting, executed with the HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter. In today's video tutorial we'll walk you through the process of creating a fully functional countdown page. For this step by step scenario we'll be using the free HTML5 Data Bindings extension and the newly released HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter. All you need to do is create a data source, select the launch date data attribute and add it to your page, and apply the date diff filter. With the right tools you can do amazing stuff and today we'll show you how useful the HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter is when combined with two other DMXzone extensions. For our showcase we created a catalog, which presents the products image and title from a database (with repeat region) using DMXzone Database Connector PHP/ASP and HTML5 Data Bindings. The read more button triggers a detail region with additional information, where we have currency and upper case filters, applied with the HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter. There's also a conditional filter that is applied on the sections, which changes the section class.
