Multi-step Form with Dependable Dynamic Dropdowns

Recently, we received a user request on how to create multi-step form with dependable dynamic dropdowns and today we have an amazing step by step video tutorial to cover the process. We used the Dynamic Database Connectivity Collection PHP but it also applies for ASP users of the same collection. For the purpose of this movie we also used DMXzone Tabs. If you follow the instructions you'll need to create data sources, add the dependable dynamic dropdowns in each tab, apply the disable tabs behavior on page load and add continue buttons that are attached to tab behaviors.

How It's Made: ATV Store Showcase

If you missed our ATV Store Showcase last week or you still haven't figured out how we did it with our DMXzone extensions, today we have a great video tutorial to show you the process of filtering database results. Using HTML5 Data Bindings, DMXzone Database Connector PHP/ASP, HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter and DMXzone Slider we setup a database connection and inserted a repeat region on our page, added two hidden fields for min. and max. range values, and added filter to our price column. All of this you can watch in our movie below.

It's all done with a simple mouse drag but looks awesome so explore it below. Now you can use the DMXzone Slider to store and retrieve the range values from your database as you can see in our latest showcase below. We build a smart temperature web app, which features a slider that you can drag for the desired temperature value to be stored in the app's database so check it out what else we added into it.

Interactive Sortable and Manageable Table with DMXzone Extensions

In today's showcase our developer and design guru Teodor Kuduschiev will show you how you can create an interactive table that is easily manageable, using the right DMXzone extensions. The user dashboard can be sorted by different criteria using arrow buttons, edited and also, each database entry can be deleted. A successful message is displayed on success for your convenience. Keep Your Site on the Clock with the Improved DMXzone Timepicker

As we're getting closer to the weekend, our developers packed another improved extension today - the DMXzone Timepicker, which is the ultimate add-on for our recently updated DMXzone Calendar 2. Now, it comes with a new option for setting the separator between the date and time, for the normal field as well as for the alternative hidden field. This is for usage with Database Updater PHP/ASP where you need alternative separator to be T and the format to be HH:ss:mm.

Also the HTML5 Data Bindings Formatter 1.0.1 has bettered date formatting for smoother integration with DMXzone Calendar 2.
